GETTING INVOLVED AT
JERUSALEM MISSIONARY BAPTIST CHURCH
Jerusalem Missionary Baptist is a church full of life and families that are growing in their relationship with Jesus. It is easy to just attend church and be a spectator, but we believe that being a part of the church means that you are connected to the church. We know what God is doing here is special, and we want you to have a part in that. We want you to build relationships with people while finding ways to give of your talents and abilities to help reach our community. At Jerusalem, we don’t stress membership, we emphasize participation. There are several ways to join in with what we’re doing here.
Men's & Women's Ministries
Jerusalem Missionary Baptist Church is to develop a caring community of women/Men devoted to Christ meeting the needs of each other in all seasons of our lives, and of those in our Church, community and Throughout our city.
Pantry Ministry
"For I was hungry and you gave me something to eat, I was thirsty and you gave me something to drink, I was a stranger and you invited me in." Matthew 25:35
We believe that access to nutritious food is a basic human right. We are committed to responding to the needs of our community through food distribution and support services.
Exalting Ministries
(Bible Study, Sunday School, Worship Services)
“Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you always, even unto the end of the world. Amen.”

Young People Department (YPD)
The JMBC Young People Department (YPD) is an initiative intended to engage, educate and encourage our young people. We are working to build the kingdom of God and our young people is that kingdom’s future. At Jerusalem Missionary Baptist Church, we recognize that we have a unique opportunity to change the trajectory of a child’s life forever.
Performing Arts Ministries
The mission of Christian Arts Ministries is to inspire, disciple and enable Christian musicians, actors, writers, dancers, directors and designers to use their creative and artistic abilities to proclaim the Gospel of Jesus Christ by utilizing the power of high quality drama, musical theater, and choral music.
Choirs / Music / Audio / Video Ministries
To set the atmosphere for praise and worship and to ushers in the presence of the Holy Spirit as we enter into worship. To minister not only to the congregation, but outside the walls of the church.

Volunteer Ministries
Volunteers are special people. Each one has their own responsibilities, families, and things that take up their time but yet they volunteer some of that time to contribute to their church ministries groups. Never take them for granted. See what their contribution can help you accomplish for the Lord!
