The JMBC Young People Department (YPD) is an initiative intended to engage, educate and encourage our young people. We are working to build the kingdom of God and our young people is that kingdom’s future.  At Jerusalem Missionary Baptist Church, we recognize that we have a unique opportunity to change the trajectory of a child’s life forever.

What Can I Expect?

Our strategy is pretty simple, really.

​

We want to create fun, engaging environments for kids and teens to connect to a God who loves them and has a plan for them. We have established age ranges for our two focus groups. Children (pre-school/elementary) and Youth (middle/high school).

What Can I Expect For My Child? Children

(pre-school/elementary)​

You can expect engaging and age-appropriate environments, safe and secure experiences, and friendly and relational care, all while your child learns about Jesus!

What Can I Expect? Youth

(middle/high school)​

Your youth will participate in a culturally-relevant, engaging experience that is Biblically sound and appeals to a wide variety of learners. They’ll engage in worship, learn how stories from the Bible apply to their everyday lives, and build relationships with both a small group of youth and an adult leader.

COLLEGIATE CARE Ministry

Ministry to our students attending colleges, universities, and other post-secondary institutions.

​

The mission of the Collegiate Care Ministry is to encourage, support, and stay connected with our students as they pursue higher education and prepare for their futures. Through prayer, encouragement, care packages, communication, and continued spiritual support, we seek to remind each student that they remain an important part of the JMBC family wherever their educational journey takes them.

​

​Our goal is to help students stay grounded in their faith, feel supported by their church family, and know that they are continually covered in prayer as they grow academically, personally, and spiritually.
